Heather began her medical career as a technician in physical therapy and earned her BS in Exercise Physiology. She later shifted her focus, obtaining a BSN in nursing, and gained experience in various hospital departments, ultimately specializing in wound care for several years. After receiving her FNP degree, Heather worked in primary care before transitioning into dermatology. Throughout her career, she has always believed in treating the whole body rather than relying solely on medications. This philosophy led her to join her husband, Dr. Michael L. Ackerson, a chiropractic physician, in his practice, where she could fully integrate her diverse skills and passion for holistic care. With over a decade of experience in prolotherapy and regenerative injection therapy, Heather has embraced a comprehensive approach that addresses the mind, body, and spirit, leading to remarkable outcomes for her patients.

Ryan is a skilled and compassionate massage therapist who has worked alongside Heather for nearly 10 years. His extensive knowledge and experience make him a highly valued member of our team. We are excited to continue offering his exceptional services to our patients. Throughout his time with us, Ryan has consistently provided relief and relaxation through various massage techniques, aligning perfectly with our mission to deliver comprehensive, patient-centered care. In addition to his professional expertise, Ryan is a devoted husband and an expecting father, which enriches his ability to connect with and support our patients. Outside of work, Ryan's passion for hockey mirrors the enthusiasm he brings to his profession. His expertise in massage therapy complements our existing services, including Nurse Practitioner-guided general medicine, chiropractic care, physical therapy, integrated nutrition, and prolotherapy (regenerative injection therapy). Ryan’s approach emphasizes the interconnectedness of physical health and overall well-being, ensuring that our patients receive the highest quality care.

Andrea has been a nurse for over 10 years, known for her patient, kind demeanor and gentle touch. Her presence radiates kindness, and she has been incredibly helpful in administering IV therapy and 10-pass MAH Hyperbaric Ozone treatments. We are truly grateful to have her on our team.

Lexie is an intelligent and quick learner with valuable experience in the medical field. While working toward her Bachelor's degree, she has gained hands-on knowledge and skills that have fueled her passion for healthcare. Lexie is now applying to medical school, where she plans to further her education and continue her journey in medicine. Her dedication and ambition make her a promising future healthcare professional.
